Common Operation

There are two versions of search engines used in platform.

Old-version search engine only allows you to enter five system fields including ID, name, internal code, supplier code and remarks, which supports fuzzy query of assets.

New-version search engine supports all system fields and it is integrated only into Fabric library currently but will be extended to more assets library in future.

Custom fields are not supported in both versions.

How to use?

Enter fields content that you want to search

Separate different search content with commas or empty space

How search results are ranked?

The new version search engine comes with precise and fuzzy match through ID, name, internal code, supplier number and remarks as old version.

New search engine ranks results searched by ID/ name / internal code / supplier number / remarks higher than others.
