Precautions

• Be sure to know the gender of the model to be fitted in advance, and select a mannequin of the same gender in the software.

• The external mannequin file must be in OBJ format.

• The external mannequin should not wear shoes to allow for proper fitting later.

• The external mannequin should not have hair to allow for proper fitting later.

• If the original avatar contains shoes or hair, external software will be needed to remove them.

Limitations:

• Even if the overall shape is smooth, fine details may still be difficult to fit perfectly.

• The current mannequin fitting feature has some limitations, but it will continue to be optimized in future updates.

Specific Operation Process – Example with Virtual Female Avatar

1.Open the virtual female avatar and adjust the hair and shoes to be removed.

2.Select the model, Edit Avatar ▶Size ▶Fit Avatar▶ Open target, then select the external file in OBJ format and open it.

3.Adjust various length and circumference data to make the virtual avatar's outline align with that of the external red avatar.

4.Adjust the skeletal structure along with the size data to make the contours of the two avatars align as closely as possible.

5.Once the size adjustment has been done well, you can click Align Pose, and the software will automatically align the contours of the two avatars.

6.Click Fit Avatar - Convert. After the conversion is successful, you can see the general result.

7.Close the virtual model editing taskbar, and you will see that the fitted mannequin retains the external mannequin's dimensions while also having a skeleton.
