Purpose:
Generate another pattern of the current shape that is a mirror image of it. The two shapes should have a linked relationship.
A linked relationship means that when one side undergoes a change, the other side immediately reflects a corresponding change.
Operation Path:
Home ▶ Select/Move ▶ Pattern Right-click Menu ▶ Mirror Paste
Operation Instructions:
"Mirror Paste" ensures that when adding seam lines on one side during subsequent operations, the corresponding seam lines are automatically generated on the other side. "Mirror Paste" on the other hand, does not automatically generate symmetrical seam lines. Symmetrical patterns are automatically placed on symmetrical arrangement points.
The linkage between the two pattern pieces, whether it's linked patterns or symmetrical patterns, can be canceled by using the "Remove Linked Editing" option from the right-click menu.
The generated pattern will retain the original pattern's simulated shape in the 3D scene.
