Segment Sewing

Purpose:

Two segments of lines can be sewn together.

Operation Path:

Operation Instructions:

Click on the two lines to be sewn in turn to generate a segment sewing between them. The direction of the sewing segment is determined by where the clicks are: the starting point is one of the vertexes that is closer to the click. The sewing process is from the starting point to the end point on both sides.

You can select multiple segments in place of the original one by pressing Shift and use them as M:N sewing.

Note: Arrange the sewing part in the 3D scene first and you can confirm whether it is correct. If the seamlines are crossed, it is often that you sewed it backwards before. Right-click on "Edit Sewing" and choose "Reverse Sewing" in the menu to reverse the direction.
