Rendering (Real-time & Ray Tracing)
发布于:2024-09-04
Purpose:
Users can switch between different real-time mode effects in the 3D window during 3D modeling to meet faster/more realistic demands.
Operation Path:
3D Window ▶Real-time Rendering ▶Normal Rendering/Translucent Rendering/Ray Tracing Rendering/Render Settings
Operation Instructions:
1.Normal Rendering: Standard real-time rendering mode.
2.Translucent Rendering: Real-time rendering mode designed for handling semi-transparent material effects.
3.Ray Tracing Rendering: A real-time rendering mode that achieves a highly realistic effect. The rendering closely approximates offline rendering, reaching 90%+, with only 10% of the rendering time. Specific hardware support is required, requiring a graphics card of 2060 or higher.
4.Rendering Settings: Clicking this option enables you to configure the display effects of real-time rendering in the Property Editor.
Rendering Settings:
1.New Lighting and Material
The New Lighting and Material option is applicable to both Normal Rendering and Translucent Rendering, with its default state set to off. Enable by checking the box.
Effect after Enabling
① Enabling New Lighting and Material unifies lighting effects between offline and real-time rendering, ensuring consistent illumination in both offline and real-time rendering. Altering lighting in the real-time window immediately reflects the modified lighting effects in the 3D Window.
(Example: The effect of adding a red area light source is applied to both real-time and offline lighting)
When toggling the New Lighting and Material option, a pop-up window will appear as follows:
When the New Lighting and Material option is enabled, there is only one set of lighting content in the scene viewport.
When the option is disabled, the scene viewport will show separate sets of lights for real-time rendering and offline rendering.
② Enabling the New Lighting and Material option enhances the rendering effect, accentuating the details of the clothing (see the illustration below).

2.Transparency Rendering
Transparency Rendering enhances the ability to represent the hierarchy of transparent materials based on Normal Rendering
Algorithm
Depth Peeling: Compatible with Mac/Cloud.
Spinlock OIT: Faster speed and better performance (Not compatible with Mac).

3.Ambient Occlusion
Ambient Occlusion enhances the shadow effect of garments, making them more three-dimensional and highlighting the details of the craftsmanship.

(Enable)
4.Ray tracing rendering
Ray Tracing Rendering: Approaches offline rendering results and maintains consistency in lighting and shadows.
Supports direct animation export, providing a fast way to save animations while still achieving results that approximate offline render, thus saving up to 98% of local rendering time.
Quality: High Quality/Normal/Fast/Custom (Render quality decreases from top to bottom)
Each option corresponds to the following three parameters and supports customization.
Super Sampling Factor: Equivalent to resolution. The lower the number, the blurrier the image.
Sample Per Pixel: Equivalent to pixel rendering precision. The larger the number, the higher the precision, but the longer the time.
Max Ray Depth: For transparent materials, the larger the number, the brighter the effect; the smaller the number, the darker the effect.
Denoiser: Reduces noise but may result in the loss of details.
Ground Shadows: When enabled, produces shadows on the virtual ground in Ray Tracing Rendering mode. No ground shadows are produced when disabled.
