Trim
发布于:2024-09-04
Purpose:
Create different styles of trims and add them to avatars or garments.
Operation Path:
Object Browser ▶Trim
Operation Instructions: (As shown in the video)
Trims are only visible in the 3D window.
They can be attached to garments or avatars.
The generation process for trims is similar to that of fabrics and supports both direct addition and copying of existing trims.
Multi-point Snapping of Accessories:
Add multiple attachment points for accessories, ensuring that the relative positions of the attachments to various mesh points remain as consistent as possible during simulation
Operation Path: 3D window ▶ Click trim ▶ ClickSelect the first attachment point of the accessory to initiate the attachment process ▶ ClickAdd attachment points for trim
Note: Use the positioning ball to adjust the position of the attachment first, then set up multi-point snapping. The adsorbed attachment will remain in the same position relative to the surrounding fabric. (Multi-point snapping does not have the ability to flatten the attachment or pattern)
Unabsorb trim | 1.Right-click on the trim and select “Unabsorb trim” to remove all connecting lines (both from initial attachment and multi-point attachment). 2.Multi-point attachment supports cross-pattern adhesion, applicable only to the initially attached avatar. 3.If the cross-pattern attachment fails or the deleted pattern piece has no initial attachment association with the trim, only the multi-point attachment becomes ineffective. However, if there is an initial attachment association, all attachment relationships will fail, and the trim will also disappear. |
Application Scenario: Designed to address issues of attachment instability during simulation, particularly in complex garment designs where the stability of accessories is crucial
Application Value: Multi-point attachment capability secures accessories, preventing them from penetrating through the pattern pieces during modeling.
